    Hey guys just picked up a new skimmer off craigslist....its a percision marine bullet-3...can skim upto a 400 gallon tank....got that with a mag 18 pump...this things is amazing..got everything for 150$ what a steal...i would recomend this to anyone...super pumped!!!

    Maybe he was thinking "If I ever upgrade my tank size..."

    Powerman is right...... :eek:. It is quite big for a 90 GALLON.

    hell ya its going on my 90 i have massive bio-load on there and i will one day upgrade tanks and couldnt beat that price

    You can have too much skimmer, and you have 4 times what you need. You will go some days with no production. Your fish list is not that big, but I don't know how big the fish are. What limits fish stocking is the low oxygen content of SW. It only holds so much. Active fish like the Tangs you list I'm sure would appreciate having more O2, and the only way that is going to happen is with more SW. Not sure why you would want to stock a "massive" bio load. Sounds like a bigger tank is in order soon.


    Personally, I believe in the right tool for the job. I also don't like using more power than necessary and heating my water. But that is just me. YMMV

    Agreed.

    Good luck dialing the bullet in, $150 is a good price though. I would personally sell it, get more than what you paid for it (should be easy) and then get a slightly smaller skimmer, perhaps a nice reef octopus.
