Here's my tank, close to two months old and with my four fish. My red head is hard to see, but if you look closely you'll find him. You can also see one of my tiny star fish! And yes, there are two fake plants in there! :)

    Thanks for looking!

looks good, you need a bigger heater to handle the winters up there?

Well, omitting last winter (that was a doozy!), our winters are very mild. But I do have an extra heater I'll use if the water is cooling.

Thanks for the nice words! I was scared to put a pic on here. Haha

I'm actually debating doing some higher end macro's in my 90 gallon when I refill it instead of corals since I already have the higher end lighting, + it would give me hella nutrient export I bet macros would grow like crazy under 8x54w T5's

I figured it got cold up there as far north as you are and being a pacific bordering state

Nope. It rarely snows in the winter, maybe one time if at all. It's usually in the forties to low fifties during the day and high thirties to mid forties at night. But last year we had over 2 feet of snow that accumulated over like a month and lasted a looong time. It was crazy! I thought I was in Minnesota or something ;) But unfortunately it's usually just temperate here. I like extreme seasons!

Nice! Why do you have plastic plants? You could get some nice macro maybe to replace them.
