    GREAT "Tips" INDEED.

Some things I would have never thought of on my own.

Esp. like that idea of painting inside of canopy. Marine Supply store near so easy to find good quality "reflecting" paint.

    Much appreciated.

    Sincerely,

    OmarD

    How coming...

    Slow but sure.

Got "canopy paint" today..from Marine Supply Center. Looks like right stuff - but pricy. Won't have time till next week to get to work on as we are leaving for BC in AM for 3 days up in "Jacket's Country"

AquaC EV 180 arrived yesterday. Pretty impressive looking machine.

    Lights/Pump on way.

Tank due in another week or so...then "fun" really begins.

    UPDATE:

    Getting closer to "Setup Date"

Tank, Pumps, Skimmer, etc. all in corner of living room (getting "evil eye" from spouse who wants this "project" "done" )

Stand/Canopy in final stages of moving from garage - (another area that needs some "cleaning up" I am told :p )

Should be able to mount door/fans and wire up tonight.

Way cool! Thanks for the graphic update.
Polished aluminum light reflectors, spidered or dimpled is even better, will greatly increase the intensity or PAR value of your light.

    @ Nugio re: paint.

Following advice here went down to local Marine Supply store and got what they thought would be best.

PETTIT Marine Paint - "Easypoxy" polyurethane topside and deck enamal. (#3175)

    Info:

    http://www.pettitpaint.com/HandProd.asp?SubCatID=4

Easypoxy is a highly rated, one-part polyurethane topside paint improved by the addition of silicone for a brilliant shine and easy brushability. It also contains ultraviolet filters which enhance the already superior gloss retention and durability of polyurethane. This results in a topside finish that is exceptionally easy to apply and produces a lasting gelcoat-like brilliance, with a minimum of effort. Easypoxy is available in white and twenty-five popular topside colors.

Seems to be the right stuff for what we want.

    Rgds,

    OmarD
