Oh, and I added some marine stress coat after adding the Yellow Tang, I think thats why the Xenia is shrivled. Doesnt seeme to like it. I suspect it will pop back soon.

Tank is looking very nice! BTW, I had a black long spine sea urchin, it starved. From what I observed, you need a LOT of algae to keep them fed, I couldn't get mine to take prepared food, and it took about 6 months but it wasted away. Just an FYI.

Finally got around to ordering the new RO/DI unit
EXTREME TYPHOON III 150 GPD RODI with Gauge & TDS from AWI

I plan to run the RO to the existing house RO unit lines and the DI output to the tank using the ATO. Also got the Level-Loc auto top off unit from BRS. Also want to create a tub where I can store 30 or so gallons premixed.

Now if I can just figure out how it all goes together I will be stylin..

    Cheers

    New Additions -

    Well, Solved the power problem.
Installed a 20k propane whole house house cut over with a gas 6k gas standby for back up.

received the new Typhoon III and BR Level Lock. Just need to install them.

Tested current water with the portable TDS meter that came with TIII.
From tap 130, from existing RO, 9.
I hope to do better witht he TIII.

    New Problem

So, it is hot now and this is the first summer for the new reef. I had the 90 gallon Cichlid and dont recall such a problem. Likley due to the new T5 lights. Glad I didnt go MH...

So anyway, I am struggling with the temp at 82'. Is this going to be a problem or will it be OK ?

I am not looking forward to a chiller and not sure if I would go that far.
I have mostly fish, but have a few anemones, xenia, leather, shrooms, flowerpot, and toadstool.

Oh, and the room temp is 77'

I just put a room fan in there to blow on the tank to see if that helps and may open the doors over night or when I can.

    Any thoughts on this ?

    Cheers
