OK, quite a dissappointment. One of the ballasts on the Nova Extreame Pro has burnt out. The LFS that ordered it for me should be taking care of it, but man. Thats not very comforting...

So after 5 weeks of running, Week 2 after moving LR and fish, here are the numbers as tested..

    Temp - 78.6
    PH - 8.4
    ALK - 2.5
KH - 8 ( Added ALK again to try to get up to 10)
    Am - 0
    N2 -.2
    N3 - 2.5
    P4 - .01
    Ca - 500
    MG - 1400

I get the replacement light tomorrow so thats good. Some of my base rock is already getting purple specs on them. I did lose the Sally Lightfoot but everyone else is still looking good.

I was about to ask why the nitrites......but you moved the LR around. OK. Nice lighting BTW. Too bad about the burn out, but at least they are getting you another quickly. Your tank will love you.

    WHATS THIS ??
So in my fuge growing on some LR is a anemone looking thing. THere are a bunch of them.

Also have some in the Chaeto. The base looks like a egg or something then out of the top is sprouting.

According to 3reef's calculator, you have a 134g tank. Go figure! Luna
