Well as some of you have heard....Tangster decided the contents of his tank would look better on his living room floor, (i told him it was a bad idea but he is stubborn hahah) so now his fish are in his sump and his living room is really wet. ill spare him the "I told you so" hehe
So all kidding aside i spent all day yesterday breaking down my 90 gallon and moving the majority of the livestock, and the tank to his house. I have as much of my rock as i could fit in my sump and three of my fish in there as well...I am moving at the end of the month into a new home and have started ideas on a new system. I have decided i hate big tanks and i deal with enough large systems at work that i dont need or want one at my home. BUT....i do need something to get away from the woman and give me man time so i need a tank to play with. So i think i may go with one of two tanks.

Do i go with the Elos system 70 or Elos Mini? the system 70 seams like what i am leaning towards cause the dimension are just awesome! its a 55 gallon tank that is 22.5 inches front to back and 27.5 inches long! But i like small tanks so the mini also seam promising! decisions decisions

I think a 55 with those dimensions would be awesome, I hate the standard 55 dimensions. You would get a lot more room to aquascape and work it just right.

The 55 also sounds good to me... With those dimensions as guitar man said, will work out great;)

yeah here are some pics of the system...Thing looks awesome! The sump has a spot partitioned out to hold FW for auto top off, built in calcium reactor, pretty nice skimmer, and it all seems to be very well laid out to make working on it very easy!

:eek::eek: WOW! Can that sump mow the lawn and take out the trash as well? Talk about ingenuity! I must say, you have GREAT taste!! Lighting.. hmm, are you thinking T5's, MH's, or both?

HQI's / LED supplement lighting. those are cool cause you can angle those MH reflectors any direction you want to kinda get a spotlight effect. Then the bracket in the middle houses 18 high power blue LEDs.

But i do love me some T5s so it is still up in the air...
