OK guys trying to make my mind up... I am currently running a 92 bow front and love it just hard to get a light setup for it so i built a stand and canopy for a 90 or 75 tank its all done my 92 is sold but now I thinking of going bigger like a 140 same size as 90 just deeper and taller... and i found a used stand and tank for they same price as my lfs is selling my just a 90 tank.. what should I do go bigger or just go with the 90

I would go bigger. The bigger footprint will make stacking your rock much easier and will look much better.

    I would definitely go with a 92 corner over a 90 or a taller version of a 90g.
A 90g is a nice tank, had one set up for a year as my temporary tank until i got my 200g tank done.

The biggest issue with a 90g is the 18" of depth. it is not easy to aquascape and have much room on the sand for corals. Then the tall 90g, a 140. Any tank that is like 29 inches or over is a real pain to get to the bottom. I am a tall guy, with long arms and I had a hard time getting stuff off the bottom of a 140g oceanic that was 4' x 2' deep by like 29 tall. I guess at least with a 2 foot deep tank the extra height wouldn't be so bad because you have a lot more room to aquascape.
