You can QT the inverts if ya want, but i wouldn't personally. Def don't freshwater dip them!

I never had an issue with a flame and corals, but it is always a risk. Good luck

You should wait till you're tanks about 6 months old before adding the flame!

I agree with Cosmo. I had terrible luck keeping anglefish, even when my tank was over a year old.

The Flame is for sure the very last fish to be added and it will be a long time before I get one. All fish will be QT for at least 3 weeks and then will wait 2-3 weeks before adding more fish/corals.

I changed fish up again and if these will work together will be what I am going to get. Will the order I am adding them work or is there certain fish I should add before the others?

    1st: Hermit Crabs
2nd: Shrimp-Skunk Cleaners, Peppermint, and Blood Red
    3rd: Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse
4th: Blue Gudgeon Dartfish and Purple Firefish
    5th: Yellow Prawn Goby
6th: Blue mandrin and Red Scooter Blenny
    7th: Blackcap basslet
    8th: Flame Angel

I know it's overstocked. What kind of lights should I have for the coral list I have? What are moon lights for? Are they useful for corals? I also plan on getting a Reef Octopus NWB 110 Needle Wheel Protein Skimmer. Will this be a big enough skimmer?

Edit, you're probably ok on order. Also make sure ya read up on these fish as the wrasse, goby and mandarin are finicky eaters that require extra care, food and feeding. Try to get an ORA mandarin if ya can and make sure you see it eat prepared food. If not, you're gonna wanna wait till the tank is well aged, or ya seed the heck out of it with pods, pods and more pods for a few months.

Moonlights, IMO, are purely for your viewing pleasure at night. I'd def recommend a decent led fixture for your tank, higher initial cost, but no bulb replacement every 9 months or so and lower electric bill. Whats you're lighting budget, that should help.

The mandrin will for sure be already on prepared foods. My local LFS has a couple already that eat prepared food. The tank has been up and running for over a year so should be good with pods, but I will still buy some and add more. There is also a refugium with it for extra pod growth.

So should I add the wrasse and basslet together? I thought the Basslet would be the meaner of the group other than the angel.

As far as light budget I would like to stay around the $250-300 range as I need to get a new skimmer as well.
