    hey im nick im starting a 55 gallon reef tank. built a custom stand and hood. as of right now its full of aragonite and water just sitting till i get my heater/protein skimmer and powerheads

    Welcome to 3reef, your in the right place! The skimmer looks good! I have one kinda like that that works great.. Not the same exact shape, but same structure and look to it.
