yeah thats a good starter kit, look at reeflcleaners though and see what you'll need. They have rec's by the tank size. And BTW, I don't have a sump either, just a HOB fuge I love!!!!!

Also for reference, you're prob safe with about 100 snails, and 30 blue leg hermits!lol

 

Thanks Cosmo, That looks great im going to hit up home depot and wallmart for the equipment ill probably have to wait untill thursday or friday for the pieces though, maybe by sat or sunday I can have some pictures of my tank with the top and the CUC for you guys to see, as always Thanks for the advice im very gracious

(pics will be depending if i can stop staring at snails ill be happy to have anything as ive been staring at my rock and the corraline algae thats starting to bloom on them)

Also on one piece of my live rock its got little tubes ( i googled this of course and seems to be some kind of worm that is normal with new tanks that builds those types of tubes )
