You might want to check out member Biocube's thread, he has some great mods and ideas.

What lighting type do you have?

    That is a great start.

Thanks.. Biocube. I have many questions.. I use your thread as reference.

on a side note just purchased a Tunze 9002 i wanna buy the intank media rack and get a powerhead in there.

But where I am really stumped is the lighting... I know i have to upgrade asap..
I wanna have the mix you have in your tank.. I wanna incorporate your extra colors outside the blue and white.
Was the retrofit hard to do ?

Honestly it wasn't too hard to do, I at first did the plug and play kit but converted it over to full DIY. I would honestly go to Radio Shack and buy a small soldering kit and learn some soldering tricks.

I would talk to Mike from Rapid and many build a unit with a complete spectrum running off two drivers vs 3.

I will do.. i am trying to figure out the whole spectrum thing..
I just looked over your pics and your lighting is perfect, after a while reading about light spectrum and 400nm etc.. get pretty bland.

Biocube, another question was it hard to setup your sump in the stand?

I currently have the Tunze 9002 getting the in tank cup.. and have been told i cant get the refuge rack in there only the filter media one. How important is running the refuge?
