    i am thinking about geting one of those aquaripure filters that clame to reduce you nitrates to 0 (Aquaripure Nitrate Filter). but i wanted to know if anyone has ever used one? also i was looking around on here and hurd something about a coiled denitrator and i wanted some more info about it. thanks

    The thing I was looking at recently is seachem matrix. Seems like it is basically just like live rock. I thought I remember reading that nitrate reactors can go bad if not maintained. What would be the benefit of using one then over a product like matrix that never has to get replaced? More nitrate absorption?
