Ill be honest here and say in your tank, with just rock and a single polyp - I would do nothing more than add a battery powered air pump or 2 with air stones to help keep water oxygenated

if it was full of live stock, it would be a different case

the rock was cured and sorry but it is too late for me to get battery operated air pump so i will have to let it go the way it is and find out tomorrow what will happen

Im sure it will be OK anyway - I always have battery operated pumps about the house for occasions like this ( power outs lasting a few hours a day where common here last year, due to power shortages - it was rationed)

Honestly, I dont think its a problem, so dont worry, cooler. No live stock = no problem

when power comes back on after a couple of days do your testing again etc, Im sure you will find nothing has changed, the most important thing you have in your tank at present is the bacteria and it wont bother about temp drop and cooler water = higher oxygen levels

Having a battery powered air pump will save lives. If you are really concerned, having a generator will ensure the longevity of your tank during a power outage.

I have had full reef. easy stuff no SPS or clams etc and had power outs in UK lasting full days , honestly I dont recall losing anything at all due to these infrequent power outs of up to 8 hours duration

heat - if you have gas, you can warm up water and place in bowls etc in your sump or DT to maintain temp

battery powered air pumps are also valuable

light - no real issue , how many people do you read about that black out reef tanks for days in order to get rid of an algea plague?

if the power outs are going to occur infrequently - the above would get you through it

if the power outs are going to occur often - you may want to look at a small generator ? or other alternatives like running stuff from your car battery etc
