I'm not at all an expert on this, but when we lost power during winter I'e started adding warm water after an hour to a 40g. Based on that I'd say you have at least 2-3 hours. Hope experts will cover this :)

We're in summer now... so water temp isn't so much of an issue in my opinion. Go to Walmart and buy battery operated air pumps to keep the water oxigenated. If water getting too hot is a possibility, buy ice in a gas station and float it inside big zip lock bags to keep the temp on the right range. A battery operated fan with the wind running across the water surface also does wonders to cool water off a bit.

Call your electricity provider and report the outage. They usually give an ETA of when they will have power back on. Good luck!!

I can't see your location on the tapatalk app.... but if you're in cold weather or in another hemisphere where its the cold season, a camping stove with gas canisters will allow u to warm a big pot of tank water and add it to the cooling water of your aquarium.

    Hope that helps.

PS: u have a good 3 to 4 hours as stated above for that aquarium to reach critical temp. Again, that is depending on your location and how extreme the temps/weather is over there.

Also in addition to this DO NOT FEED THE TANK. All this will do is make the fish' metabolism rise and increase oxygen consumption. Do not feed until the power is back. Fish can last easy three days without food. If it lasts longer than that, I would feed.

Warm temp, goin on 45 min, no eta from power company, at 2 hrs might need to go look at getting something to oxygenate water

Good. U can buy the air pumps at the fishing and bait section. They're usually used to keep live bait alive.

Worst case take a water pitcher and pour it into the DT from the dt just to add your O2. Invest in a generator. I just had an electrician install a transfer switch... just in case. Too much of an investment for me to trust without one.
