I was hoping for a snow day, but I doubt we'll get anything here. Knoxville schools are already closed. Lucky kids...they're only 1.5 hours away from here. Personally, I'm hoping we get freezing rain. You know, rain falls, forms puddles, puddles freeze. Because that has "no school" written all over it :D

Where are you planning to go to college? Major??

The drama is EXACTLY why I would never go back to high school. Fortunately, that goes away in college or at least it did for me.

The drama doesn't go away when one of your best friends is in a sorority.

BTW-- Something different... my kids actually had 2-3 weeks off following Hurricane Ike as "Hurricane Days". Very much NOT good days off from school. They were happy at first, but it screwed up the whole school year. Big mess.... the snow just melts... Much prefer a snow day.

True... fortunately I avoided the sorority and frat thing also. Didn't see the need to buy friends... sorry, not a sorority or frat fan. But some folks like 'em. To each their own.

I'm personally not in one, don't ever want to be in one. She just happened to be from the same high school and we have the same major.
