That's so cool! I've been looking into doing something like this for a planted tank.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That is seriously nice.

    Thanks for sharing.

Looking forward to the tank maturing, it will look very much like a natural reef.

I took some of my live rock rubble from my 55 gal and let it dry out.I zip tied them to the egg grate, foamed around the rocks,Then put 30 min epoxy over the foam with regular aragonite sand over the epoxy let it dry, shook off and siliconed it to the back of the tank.

Very nice!!! So you just did them in individual panels and then siliconed them in place. Totally cool

your welcome.Very pleased that I did the foam background.I just took all my other live rock and put it in my sump.I left the two sides open a little so cleaner shrimp could get in there. My blue tang decided it was a great hiding spot.

Well we found a bigger house to move into really dreading moving day.but i figured since my sand bed is fairly new I will scrub the crap out of my shop vac and suck all my sand up into it.As for the water I have two 75 gal food grade barrels that i will put onto the moving truck and use my garden hose to siphon the water to.But anyways thats still a month off.Heres a couple updated pictures.

Got some red titan macro algae to help fill in the back ground.

Got two shaving brush plants. But I dont think they will last too long cause my Tang has been chewing on them.

My little boy wanted in the picture.Hes a big help.Loves feeding the dwarf lionfish ghost shrimp.Btw its pretty cool I scoop the ghost shrimp in a small net and the dwarf lionfish actually goes into the net to eat the shrimp.Never seen that before.

[IMG]George the clownfish had to be in the picture too.
New dwarf lionfish.Tang and him had a little fight not too long ago.But all is well now.
