Nice looking fish so far. :)

Most anemones really require high light conditions. Do you know why your first anemone died so quickly? Do you have enough lighting to support them? Most recommendations I've heard are only adding anemones to well established tanks with very stable water parameters because if they die they have the potential to nuke the entire tank and kill pretty much everything in it.

Hate to sound like a downer but that's what I've heard. Just in case, there's a lot of information out here so you can make sure you're ahead of the curve.

welli had the normal lights that came with the tank on at the time, since then i have gotten a better light with actinics, i believe it was that which caused the issue, Noob mistake i guess, i really liked that LTA, i might get another in a few weeks

Do you know what type of lights you have now? Common possibilities are regular flourescent, power compact flourescent, T5 flourescent, and metal halide. For anemones most recommendations are T5 and metal halide because they provide the most output throughout all levels of the tank.

Actinic is a color/wavelength spectrum that all of the above lighting types can provide, it doesn't necessarily equate to providing the right amount of light energy for a highly photosynthetic organism like an anemone.

yeah anemones need halide lighting or a whole bank of t5 bulbs. and yeah they are risky for new aquariums. When did you set this aquarium up? Do you plan on getting a bigger tank? Not 3rd degree just making sure your not setting yourself up for bad news
