    Hi Guys,

Quick question. How long do you leave your Nori in the tank for your omnivores. I just put some in my tank and my cleaner shrimp went crazy. Are they supposed to eat that too? Thanks!!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

I put a strip of nori in that's about 3"x3" every other day. My fish usually devour it within at the most an hour.

My clown goes crazy for it. Once when I was hand feeding my clown tore it straight from my hand and hid with the nori so I couldn't get it back lol.

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I wasn't sure if the clowns would go for it. They didn't pay much attention but the shrimp are still all over it. I will take it out before the lights go out and try again in a few days. Thanks!!!!

    Regards,
    Ivy

I put in a small strip every day or 2, leave it till the next day, and take out the empty clip. What the angel doesn't devour in a couple hours the snails attack at night.

I have noticed that the red and brown algae packs say to remove after 4-5 hours and the green says it's ok to leave in for 24 hours.

My clowns usually ignore it, but sometimes nip it non-committaly. Mostly they just make a mess of it.

i feed mine a 1"x1" nori every other day and crush it to small pieces. it flies all over the tank and my ornate goby goes nuts. my clown tries to bite off on smaller pieces. in about 10 minutes they're all gone. i only got two fish by the way so the amount you feed should vary.
