If you are running an Ocean Motions 4way how do you like it? Have you ever had any problems with the device? Just wanted to check before i shell out $385.00.

I loved mine and would of bought a new one if I went the closed loop route. The only time I had an issue with mine was when my Blu Spotted Jaw Fish decided to throw sand in the intake of my closed loop. It is a great product and great support. If you have any questions call them they are very helpful. Also had mine 2 years with no issues.

I love mine and would not have a large tank with out one. I like the chaotic water flow it give you. You will not be disappointed. I run the standard 4-way with a HammerHead hooked to it.

Think it would be fine with the right size pump, but it would be your preference. Another option would be to split the outputs to direct water water, but still use the 4 way. It is nice they are not trying to say you need a 8 way just to sell it is another way I look at it. Just my 2 cents. Still think you will be happy with either a 4 way or 8 way.

You know if enough people are interested, you could all do a group buy and get a % off.
I'm talking w/ Tangster about running an O/M on mine as well, but looks like Pack's going with a Tunze wavemaker.
Here's the group buy info from their site:

OceansMotions is pleased to participate with Reefkeeping Clubs and Online Forum Communities by offering specially discounted Group Buys.

    Group Buy Requirements
    * all communication is with one Group Buy Planner who organizes the entire group.
    * one payment via PayPal for the total amount of the Group Buy Order.
    * one address to ship the entire Order to for distribution to the participants.

    Level 1: 10% off
With the purchase of 5 motorized units (any combination of 8 Ways, 4 Ways, Super Squirts or OM Squirts) your group recieves a discount of 10% off all items ordered including our Revolutions, Omni Flex nozzles, Mag Scrapers & extra drums.

    Level 2: 15% off

Roger's an authorized retailer for O/M, so depending on how many members want to buy one, the price gets better.
