Octo 2000 Set Up

    Newbie question. I gave up waiting for the Vertex IN-100 that I had ordered and bought a Octo 2000 at my LFS.

    I set it up and I am just getting massive foam and immediately overflowing the collection cup. I tried adjusting in increments from full closed to full open. It slowed the foam but it still just over flowed the collection cup.

    The thing I am disappointed in is that there were no directions in the box. Just an assembly diagram.

    It was too high.

    I raised the skimmer to get a 6" water depth. I'll play with it tomorrow. Christmas Party is about to start.

    I still need some help. I raised the skimmer to get exactly a 6" water depth.

    When adjusting the gate valve, what am I looking for to have it set correctly? Sorry for being clueless, just never done this before. Some directions would have been nice from the manufacturer...
