Ok time to replace my broken Aqua c. It worked great so my question is should I get it again, or get the Octopus bh 1000? I have heard good things about the octopus, has anyone used the bh 1000? If so did you like it?
Thanks in advance for your input

Ok got my skimmer last night, its up and running. The only problem is the air valve is missing. I called CoralVue and am waiting for a call back. My question is can I just got to the fish store and get an air valve for an airstone? Is the one for the skimmer bigger?

Ok, CoralVue said that the BH-1000 doesn't need the air valve, its just on the diagram for the other models. We'll see how it works once it breaks in.

I didn't get an air valve on my octo bh 800s. I just got one from a hardware store
