odd fish behaviours

every once in a while i will look up from the couch and my sailfin tang is down at the end of the tank closest to me and i swear he is staring at me. when i look up he swims away.

i am sure he associates me with food and is just being a pig but it is funny. when i move around the tank he will follow me and extend his fins to get my attention. he tilts his body to look up at me when i am standing.

when i put my hand in the tank to feed he will rub against my hand like a cat at your feet.

anyone else have a certain fish that exhibits strange behaviours with you?

 

Why rabbit fish will turn nasty brown and lie on the bottom next to me like hes pretending to be dying when he wants food. Soon as I put some more seaweed in there for him hes perky as ever. Iv never seen him do this unless Im sitting next to the tank. Not even for another person.

 

my fish do not come up to the front expecting other people to feed themlike they do to me. i wouldnt have believed it before i started keeping fish but they seem to be able to tell people apart and remember who feeds them.
