well im gearinging up for my 225 build i bought 300lbs of live rock for $325. i managed to kram most of it into 1 garbage can in the basement with water. ive been doing daily water changes (as much as i can syphon out, close to 100%) and my entire house is smelling terribly. my dad is saying i will hafta put it outside if the smell keeps up(its currently snowing here lol) i have 3 maxijet 1200s for circulation a 300watt heater(just a spare i had sitting around) set at 80* and a red sea prism skimmer on it. its pulling out the nastys but omg this smell is killer. any1 have any ideas whats worked to relieve the stank?

lol yeah i figured wasnt sure if any1 ever did anything about it....

had a thought drilling 2 holes in the top of the can putting an old air pump pumping air in and using the other hole to run a tube outside. creating a somewhat closed system?
