To Bakersfield and Vegas...I used to live in LA and Vegas, and now I live in North Carolina...your heat is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than heat out here. Dry heat feels like 80 when its 100. Humid heat...when its 90 feels like 1000. Insta-sweat...not fun. I miss my western weather so.

Experiences like those really help define and refine a person... good job on pushing yourself to do all that you can.

Ill just say that the humidity in Houston goes a long way. Could be 93 degrees but it feels like 105. Ridiculous...

Florida. Except the driver was probably texting in addition to putting on lipstick.

It's been a little cooler this week though.

Not only in Texas, bud. :)

My wife and I run at 4am, and my dashboard says upwards of 85 even at that hour. And to think we do it in the a.m. to avoid the heat! The second we step out of the vehicle our glasses become opaque with the humidity.

Texas and Florida have similar weather conditions.

I agree on the weather.... but a live armadillo while running? I had honestly only ever seen armadillos as road kill on a highway before.....

From the posts, it certainly does seem like it is stinking hot everywhere. Stay out of the heat everyone.
