I finally got a thread! whooo hoooo!

Okay, so most of you know my 150g blew and I have everything crammed in my 55g sump. I purchased a 72 bow and I wanted to show you guys some of my process.

Now that it is almost done being built, I find myself wanting my bigger tank still though. So, I might have 2 tank threads! lol..

Thank you all for looking and I hope you like my pictures!

It's not loud at all. I have never had a noise or micro bubble issue with any of my set-ups. I don't know if it's because I over-pipe or have alot of bends... I dunno.

I did have a heat issue because that is an isolated room though. Dunno why the air never flowed good in there.

The old acrylic runs that they were in...

Now they can have an anenome in each and the 10g's give them ample room. I know they don't NEED a host but they look better... lol

    The frame of the tank...

I am an over-doer. I like making sure what I do will have NO issues what so ever. I had to custom make the stand because I wanted to have all of my stuff under the stand instead of all over my living room. I had to make it tall enough where I didn't have to bend over everytime I wanted to see in and be able to accomidate my Calcium reactor and 30# bottle, 55g sump and a 20 long refugium.
This is the frame I came up with....

double checking "refugium" and reactor fitment...

I found that I wouldn't have enough light space for the 20 long to be my controlled refugium so I am making it a 20 long full of bio-balls.

I tried to use 2x6's where I could for added support. I built the part that the tank would sit on like a deck. Everything seemed fine at this point except for my fuge issue.

was able to snap the first one right before the lights went out.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE looking down the side of the tank... it looks so deep I want to swim in it. I want a 4' x 4' just for this reason!
