Ok i got a ORA hawkins frag about 3 months ago now. I havent noticed even a little bit of growth. It looks exactly the same as the day that i got it.

I have moved it 2 times after 5-6 weeks of nothing to see what happened.

And it is green, like a green slimer. I saw the mother colony... its a blue enchinata

Where is this thing supposed to be placed? From everything i have read this is a "fast grower"...

The polyps do extend in the morning. but they quickly go back....

Bad frag maybe? I was told that it had just been fragged when i got it and it was green due to it just being fragged. ..

Well from what I have heard the lack of polyp extension is normal with this coral. Not sure where it should be placed...how much flow is it getting? Ca? Alk? Mg?

Hmmm I'm not sure, some SPS grow in quick spurts maybe it will start to take off one day.

Some sps take a while to get comfortable. I have an ORA Red Planet and it's grown a little bit, the base has really taken off. Just let it go and do its thing.
