orange glowing dots

If they're glowing dots you could have an Orange ball corallimorph. I've got two.

The camera is a Cannon Eos xti. I have several lenses. The one I'm trying to use is a Tamron sp di 90mm 1:2.8

I have one pic that is out of focus, but the orange is visible. My tank is at an angle to the wall and I can't get a good shot. I'll try to post the pic in a few minutes.

 

From the pictures I've seen of this, that's not what it is unless it starts so small the balls are the only part you can see.

 

Ok, so I got the picture on the camera, but I have it in a raw format I think and I don't have the right program on this laptop to deal with it. So for now, not photos. Maybe I'll have time tomorrow to deal with the camera.

 

I've got quit a few spots of the orange glow myself~pretty isn't it

 

I've seen this happen on coralline algae before. You get neon orange spots, and eventually it turns to purple or pink.
