My other fish tend to get more coverage on other forums and my favourite fish kindda goes unnoticed.... my Orange Spot Filefish. I have a pair, yet the female is top dog because I had her first and spent ALOT of time training her to eat prepared foods. The male wasn't so hard and I think she trained him a little as well.

These fish were once thought to be obligate coral munchers. But some people are actually breeding these now and attempting to raise the young... it's a start.

I got them in September of 2009... pretty skinny at the time but are fattening up nicely now.

Very nice. I love those. I only brought a couple of those into the shop. 2 I got to convert to frozen after some time. The third one never did.

Oh my. That's a huge feat indeed. Being able to sustain those w/o live coral as food. Good job man. I love those fish but I've never even fathomed the thought of keeping one because of it's finicky reputation.
    WTG man. Nice pics too;)

Thanks! They are going into my "Pretty Tank" with "pretty" fish. Besides the seahorses, most of my fish get an "Oh!... ew!" from neighbours when they look into the tank.

im sure you could also just give everyone your website in stead of making 13 new show off your fish tank threads.

    either way, beautiful fish.
