Ostracoda (seed shrimp)

I was looking at my troubled tank recently and found some of these suckers in there... not some A LOT!!! If you look at the moving under a microscope it will probably give you the willies... Anyone else have these or know what they eat? I never had them before until boom! i must have had a huge population explosion.

very creepy little things. they appear to have to hard shells like a bivavle and gross little creepy legs coming from between the split in the shells and eyes on the top. looks them up they are gross. ha;D
