I don't know if any of you remember, but on December 1st I brought home a few ratty looking corals a guy gave me. He had bought them from a shotty LFS and had terrible lights and all of the corals were close together, killing each other.
I had decided that if only one of them made it, it would be worth it. They were free after all. :-/
I am happy to announce the success story of the little coral that could.;D
The first pic is of the coral when I first brought it home exactly 2 months ago. Followed by pics of its progress.
The last is how it looks as of today.
I do apologize for the crappy last pic, it was taken with my phone.

Sadly what was left of the frogspawn (what very little may I say) has finally been laid to rest. The gonopoira is still hanging on no new tissue growth and slight die back in some places, as for the brain there are two spots that are doing pretty nicely, the rest looks about the same.
I'm just so proud of this little guy. It looked so grim and now its such a lovely thing.

Good job. I am positive those corals you brought home are doing better in your tank than the lfs, at least they have a chance. Sorry to hear about the frogspawn not making it though.

+K to you for making any effort at all - even if nothing had survived.
