    Guys

Have you ever screened an overflow box?
I have a 65Gal tank not drilled so I have a overflow box in it and I am having some trouble.

I made a recent purchase of a Royal Fairy Wrasse and she hastaken up residence behind the overflow box and from time to time I am having to fish this little gal out with a net.

I would rather have something to block this fish's ability to get sucked up without compromising its ability to skimm the surface..

    Any ideas?

I have a piece of plastic hardware cloth which prevents this from happening in my tank.

A LFS gave a scrap to me; I have no idea where you might be able to purchase something similar.

Bulk Reef Supply 1/4" Mesh Netting? I was planning on using that to keep peppermints out of the overflow . . . . if your wrasse is tiny then it might not be small enough mesh but depends.
Here is the BRS Stuff: Clear 1/4" Screen Netting 6.5' x 2.5' - English

That should work too; never thought of that. You can get that at any craft store.

If I understand correctly, it's not a lid issue, it's the opening is large enough for the fish to swim into it.

I just cut a piece of acrylic slightly larger, drilled a bunch of holes in it, and placed it on top. Seems to work.
