    I was wondering I want to paint my stand black not set up yet. Should I spray paint or use a roller what kind of paint I need something to wok with tomorrow

    spray paint is more expensive than paint in a can. oil based paint will take a long time to cure. if you use spray paint and want to fix a scratch later on with corals in the tank its not a good idea to use the aerosol can. so a paint in a can would be my choice.

    Amcarrig used Latex semi gloss outside house paint to roll on my old finished wood stand ..

    what should i use for the back of the aquarium? i went and look for rustoleum royal blue and they told me that they have a oil based and a latex kind, which one should i get?

    once it dries there is no problem, oil based paints take along time to cure.
