I have these red palys that broke off from the main tree. It is not the first time I have some in the rock pile I just dont want to tear down for them. I caught these and am wondering do they have the ability to reattach themselves to a rock? I have them in a cut up bottle if they can I will leave em be if not I will glue em down. If they are glueable?

They can reattach, but I would glue them to be on the safe side.

Use regular super glue GEL, take them out of the water and get a piece of rubble, place a small amount of glue on the rock then place the polyps on the glue spot, let them sit for about 45 seconds and then dip them in a cup of salt water for 10 seconds to allow the glue to harden. I then place them under my halides for about 3 mins and then place back into the tank.

Make sure you set them lightly into the super glue. If you press them into it the glue will harden all the way around them encasing them in glue and not letting them open.

I use about the same process. I agree works like a charm. The dip in still salt water is KEY!!
