I used 2 on my 14 biocube with a 405 stunner and loved it. Grew sps fine and with their dimmer, well 2 of them, could control color ok between the purple/blue and blue/white.

    This was with pro's.

Wow! Awesome. Nice looking tank! I just bought 1 blue/white and 1 blue that were used for $70! I think that was a good deal. Now I just have to set up my cube!
Did you guys put them where the PCs go? Did you leave the reflector on?

Gut the biocube lid, screw in the panoramas, grab a beer and enjoy.

Well thank you! I love the 14. It has changed quite a bit since that photo. I got a Steve's LED kit, not because I didn't like the pro's, but just something else to mess with! With all that power (extreme sps kit with 6 additional violets...) I moved the lower light corals and most the LPS to another system. Pretty much SPS and zoa now with BB. That sand after 2 years was really, really nasty. Keeping a little system like this with no skimmer and other aids I think a very shallow sand bed or none is the way to go. Eventually the sand will be a problem since it's hard to clean in a small system.

I removed the reflector with the pros and kept the stock moon lights. When I said blue/purple I forgot it was blue/magenta.
