Probably a very silly question. What is the difference between a 60 degree and 80 degree bulb and how do I decide which one to use. I'm thinking that's the angle of the output? the 80 degree would cover more area?

Thats right, the 60 would penetrate deeper but not cover as large an area.

Thank you sailorguy. What does one put the bulb in as a fixture? I know it says the size it fits but are there things to look for that could be resistant to the salt water? I've looked and can't seem to find something (at least on-line that is).

Just go to walmart or lowes and buy any light fixture you want pretty much. They have some decent clamp on ones for around $10-15

Thanks Cosmo. I just didn't know if I should look for any particular type of material.
