    Pulled this off another forum:

Guy added green carpet to tank w/ pepp shrimp:

"However, upon introducing the carpet, they began to show a rather intense interest in it. I also noticed that the anemone was reacting rather severely to their proximity. I got a closer look and they were picking at individual tentacles. The next morning, there were a couple of circular patches about 6mm in diameter that were tentacle free toward the edges of the carpet. The next night, there were a few more such patches. "

Upon searching for this i also found accounts where people had shrimp eaten by the green carpet anenome. I guess it depends on size comparison and luck.

Maybe someone else has had experience with them on this forum. Good luck.

I would be more concerned with the carpet consuming the shrimp than the other way around. Carpets are very potent in terms of their sting(nematocysts)!
How long have you had your Carpet?
They are very difficult to maintain! Do you have intense lighting etc.?
