I have a new Peppermint shrimp. I read a lot about them before my purchase. I understand they eat aptasia, fish flakes and pretty much scavenge. My question is, will they eat the copepods that are in my tank? I have quite a few and I like watching their activity among the live rock and shells scattered about.

I would guess they would if they scavenge.

I couldn't see it happening and I kind of doubt they would, I see them going after more easier food than that.

Thanks for the help. The copepods do seem to be able to get out of harms way pretty quick.
