Both will go after corals if they are not well fed. Peppermints seem to go after LPS corals and sexys after all most likely, we know from our members they go after SPS and softies.

Dont wanna jack the thread but I have a quick question then, can the sexy shrimp be kept in a fish only tank without any corals? so they don't eat them haha

You'll need to be careful what kind of fish you put them with-- even some wrasses are known to eat shrimp. In fact, it was only yesterday that someone posted that a wrasse ate their skunk cleaners.

Im starting the bio cube up again I was just gonna do fire fish and a pistol/goby pair. but im thinking I want a few sexy shrimp but I thought they lived in anemones I don't want them eating my corals in my 40. I didn't know peppermint shrimp would eat corals either...

You should be fine with the sexy shrimp in the bio-cube.

Peppermint shrimp will also attack certain species of delicate, short-tentacle anemones, as well.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I had peppermint shrimp eat my maxi mini anemones. They were a nightmare to catch, honestly I would rather have a couple aiptasia than peppermint shrimp. I have also heard they eat LPS at times regardless of if you feed them daily.
