Well I've got a habanero and jalapeno plant growing this year and I'm getting a pretty decent amount of peppers already. I think I'm going to have tons of extra that I will not be able to eat, does anyone have ideas of what I can do with them? I'm thinking along the lines of jarring/pickling or even trying to make my own hot sauce.

How bout trays and trays of frozen stuffed jalapeno peppers?

Make a tray of a dozen or so and you can take em outta the icebox whenever you want spicy homeade treat!

you can grind the two and make as a spread or add it to food when cooking.. It will have a nice kick.. Just be careful grinding.. Your eye may burn..

LOL!!! Very true!! Also, to cool off you mouth. Drink milk, it neutralizes it.. Remember it's not just your mouth that's on fire, your stomach has to deal with it too. Peppers don't really bother me & can eat them like candy, but I do get the occasional one that bites back..

Thanks for all the replies!! I love me some hot peppers, being from Louisiana it's kinda a prerequisite. ;D

Salsa sounds like a winner, I have tomatoes growing too! I know how to make salsa but I've never jarred, pickled, or made hot sauce. Anyone have recipes?

    Thanks again.
