I just got 2 Percula Clownfish yesterday and one of them only staying in one place at the top of my tank by my powerhead it never moves from that stop unless i scare it and then it swines with the other one for a bit and goes back to the spot. Is it just getting use to my tank. I did get the two together and there is no bulling around.

Sounds like a wait and watch. Make sure parameters are in line.

If he stops eating, begins to breath heavy at the surface or develops white spots then be more aggressive.

I have experienced similar situations a few times

I have had 2 clown fish in at same time, both exploring the tank
I have had 2 clown fish and one hovers about in 1 area and the other explores
and I have had 2 clownfish that both hosted a heater thermostat from day 1 until they got more comfortable and went investigating further

    Sounds normal to me

Your info says you have a damsel in there too. They can be bullies and not letting him outof his corner.

As Steve posted, sometimes new clowns just do this.

I to have had some be very social and active and some stick to corners for awhile until they felt more comfortable.

    Is he eating?
