    I have a 90 G system

I am dosing the tank with Bi ionic Alkalinity. my tank sits around 8.0 PH all day, when I dose the tank it goes up to 8.2 for 2 hours or so then slowly back to 8.0.

Is this PH high enough ? if not how else can I raise it ?

Calcium is a different story, I can't get it lower than 500. I have several acros and other LPS that benefit from calcium.

I use Tropic Marin Pro Reef salt.

is it bad to have calcium levels at 500 ?if so how can I lower it ?

    Any input would be appreciated

Actually those parameters are pretty good. What time of the day are you dosing your alk? If you dose at night you wont get the PH swings during the day :)
Whats your CA reading in your new make up water? I'd check that before doing anything.

i assume wait to test the mixed water for 2 or 3 days , I always mix my salt for 3 days before using it.

Your calcium reading is fine, it's not going to hurt anything. As far as your PH, although everyone aspires for 8.2, as long as it doesn't go below 7.8, you will be okay.

600ppm is a little on the high side, one of your other big 3 must be off.
