ph question

i have a question about ph. my water test great in every test but ph. it is a constant 7.8. i do not understand why. can anybody tell me what i need to do without raising dkh and calcium. thanks

 

For low pH, I would try running the airline from your skimmer outside, and see if it rises. usually, these issues can be attributed to CO2 buildup in the house.

 

how long should it take for me to notice a change? i have a tube ran out my window now.

 

It usually happens over a few hours. It usually takes a decent bit of time for it to show a significant difference.
