Take your time dude, you can't heal up in a day :). How are the wife and kid handling things? I fear the apple's demise more than anything, hope everything is going well John.

My tank is kind of on edge. I need to do some major work on it. I am going to start with a major water change (30%) in the next few days. I am going to start the water mixing tomorrow and do this on Friday. My wife and kids are going to have to help. Then I am going to do another one on Sunday before I go back to work Monday. That will bring the NO3 down to an acceptable level while I troubleshoot the system and do any modification that need to be done. Yeah.....I have been thinking about that apple too.

Good luck with the tank, John! I'm sure you'll get the problem figured out.

Does this tank even have water in it any more? ;) Pics? Updates? A simple comment perhaps? Something? Anything? :p
I know for a fact you have at least one piece of big news to share. Stop neglecting your thread John, that's and order! ;)

    OK, OK, OK!!!! Jeez!!!

I did upgrade my lights here this week. Picked up an 8x54W TEK T5 array to replace my ailing PC fixtures. One is a Jebo. One is an Odyssea. Currently, I am running 4x55W 10000K and 2x55W actinic. The bulbs are almost a year old. The new fixture will have all UVL bulbs. 4x54W Superactinics, 2x54W Actinic White and 2x54W 75/25. I may play with the lighting to get a little bluer. Haven't decided yet. But it will be SUCH an inprovement. The last piece of expensive equipement I really need.

Things are going well in the tank. I am doing a full spectrum test tomorrow. My neck is healing well, but I have not been able to do much in the way of lifting.....which means just topping off and twice weekly feedings. My red coris wrasse bit the dust here this week. Second one to die in my tank, so I will not get another. I just need to find where he buried himself before he croaked. I am hoping he is under the turbinaria. He liked it there. I go digging tommorrow. I may go the LFS also, but have not decided.

The neck is doing well. Worked 32 hours last week, 35 this week. Physical therapy started today to improve range of motion and it worked nicely. Should be back to normal (or 90% thereof) by the end of the month or first couple weeks of May. Pretty amazing what they can do. Scar looks great. It stands out nicely. I keep telling people I got it in a knife fight against four ninjas. No one believes me. Must be the white lab coat.

Will have some pics that I took a few weeks ago up tomorrow. The Sea Apple is still alive, so my tank must be doing well

My favorite thing in the tank. It sits next to my second favorite thing....my pagoda cup.
