    hello all im new to this forum and was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the best type of reactor to fit to my tank also what is the best way of fitting it to the tank is it best to hang it onto the back of the tank and if so what sort of gap do i need behind the tank (wanted to check before i actually fill it with water ) or would it work fine in the cabinet below some how this is the wifes prefered option but i want to do it right so i thought i would check with those who know first im new to all this so any advice on he best type and how exactly i fit it to the tank would be gratefully appreciated

    As long as you have a pump that can provide it the proper amount of flow from the location you chose, it should work just as well whether it's hung on the tank back or hiding in the basement below the tank. One word of caution though. Any object that depends upon seals to keep your aquarium water in is most safely placed above aquarium water when possible.
