Thanks to all that helped in my thread of how to add pics. My tank is coming along nicely (I think ;D) Thursday I decided to add 2 little green chromis's 2 blue leg and 2 red leg hermits and 2 turbo snails. The tank cycled and it was time to take the next step So far all are doing very well. Water test will verify.

Anyway wanted to show a pic to get feedback on rockscaping ect.

Rockscaping looks great. Very clean look. What kind of lighting do you have on it?

The rocks are very stable. The sand makes it look like the rocks sit on top but they do not. I moved the sand out where the rock went in so I don't think anything can get under the rock. Time will tell.

My youngest son (6) is starting to like the tank now that there is fish in it. He actually thought I got the tank to keep rocks. I guess that makes sense when you consider that is all that was in there for a month or so. Every morning he takes "inventory" to see where everyone has moved to. He is amazed by the hermit crabs. "Things" live in the shells. I also get updates on the hour on anything that has moved.

I get the same updates from my son. everyone seems to be more fascinated by the CUC in my tank than the corals that take all the work to keep. Go figure. Sounds like you have some good lighting for corals.

    Looking very good aquascaping wise

1 tip from a dad with a 7 year old , helpfull son.
dont leave the magnet in situ - remove it and replace it as and when you need to use it

your 6 year old will want to get involved - which is great
but if your not about and an impromtu algae scraping session is done, sand gets picked up in between the magnets and your nice tank can look a mess in a very short time

+1 good tip. I try to let my son pick out some corals and help with as much as I can. He also knows not to touch the tank without permission though.

My three year old is constantly staring into my tank. He is still short enough that the algae scraper can be kept out of reach. That is, assuming he doesn't get creative.

I like the aquascape by the way. It will look great smothered on coral.
