    Can my pincushion urchin solely survive off the green (i have far more green than purple) coralline algae in my tank? There is also some hair algae hes been destroying too, or should I supplement him everyonce in a while with an algae tab?

    I'd say as long as your have enough algae, i wouldn't worry about it too much! I give my 2 urchins a small piece of nori every couple weeks, but thats it, and i don't have an algae problem!
