    hello one of my sponges is not doing so well and need some advise.

    have you moved it or anything recently? What sources of stress might it have

    yea i just moved. but he was like that when i made the move. i was having someone take care of my tank (someone i tust with tanks of his own). im sure the move did not help much. he said that it might have came into contact with air as some point in time. right now everything looks ok with the water.

    Probably VERY stressed from being out of water. It can actually kill sponges fairly quickly...I'd hope itll be fine, but i dont think theres anything you can really do :( (i was guessing out of water though)

    If a sponge is in contact with air, air gets traps inside of it and basically starves it to death. That is also what it looks like from the pic.
