Please help me

    HI everyone im new to the hobby and i just received my first corals today.(So excited) ii have only one problem since im new to all this, i have done my research, but im just wondering why my corals are a light brown color? Are they dead or are they just upset becuase of the move?

    its supposed to look like this but its like brown and the tips of it are are sort of green

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If you could post the specific names of the corals you received and an image if possible we can be of more assist.

    Some soft corals such as Kenya Tree, Cabbage corals and other corals do appear to have brown coloration under certain lighting.

    If you need assistance posting images please let us know.

    I am guessing you had them shipped to you? If thats the case, its very normal to see the corals brown out during shipping. They should restore their colors in the next few weeks during acclimation.

    Most corals usually take a few weeks to color up once introduced. It's nothing to worry about - good husbandry will usually provide good results.

    Yeah, lighting makes a huge difference. Get them under some actinic and they'll look tons better, but they'll probably never look as bright they do in those pictures... :(
