so at my dads office they are starting another reef tank, however the people in charge of it are clueless. so my dad comes home this evening with a six line and a scooter blenny. apparently they had put them in the tank that had just gotten water in it the other day and hadnt even started cycling yet. my dad is very experienced with reefing so he figured they would be better off in my 5 gallon nano which just recently started cycling until the other tank cycled. the scooter is eating formula one and they both apprar to be doing good. will this be a major problem? sorry if their are mistakes in this i just broke my hand and right now im doing all this with one hand lol.

They should be OK if you have enough rock for the fish to have hiding spaces.

I'd be afraid of suddenly adding so much bioload to such a small tank without live rock. Try taking them to the LFS.

    They eat pods, not algae.
That rock was dry and I'm not sure that enough nitrifying bacteria are in there. Be careful, this sudden addition may re-cycle the tank.

If they are contract & screwing up why doesnt you dad call them up & tell them get in there and fix it? He who pays the bills makes the rules.

Be careful, the crabs may go after the scooter.
