Just got an eight pound live rock yesterday and found this fellow in the tank today. I was thinking some sort of nudibranch. Please ID (good or bad?).

    Thanks.

Definitely a nudibranch, most are not reef safe and that does not have the colors of the ones that are. Most are also obligate feeders and you may not have the food it eats and if you did you would not want the nudibranch eating it anyways.

yupp thats a nudi, its hard to tell if its good or bad, might be a zoa eater, could be an undiscovered one (probably not but just saying) but they are specialized eaters, meaning they only normally eat one specific thing.

Leslie answered you over at the other place. She said definitely a bad one, kin to the zoa eating kind.
